Google Chrome stopped working.......

on my laptop, running xp. It has been running brilliantly for the last few months, now when I launch it the front page comes up fine with all my recently visited pages etc, but when I click one it times out and this appears;

This web page is not available.

The web page at null might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.

Internet explorer runs fine still.

Any ideas?

Try running ccleaner, clear your cache and your history in case there has been some sort of conflict.

What happens if you just type in the address manually?

Manually typing gives the same result.

I have had this problem over the last couple of days...Seems ok right now, I just switched back to IE.

Incidentally Chrome doesn't allow me to upload videos to FB....

I deleted everything and then shut down the computer and re-started and it's working again

Oh, and this laptop is running Vista business not xp as per OP.
