I'm getting quite excited that i am finally in a position to buy a nice telly after years of crappy 26" CRTs!

Looking for 1080p (for PS3 and Blu-ray), about £700, high def TV AND a fair chunk of low def (would be a benefit to have in built freeview).

the 42G10 mostly fits the bill but i'm a little concerned about the low def performance and wondered if anyone could comment?

Also, whats the difference between the S10 and the G10?

S10 is the low-fat version of the G10 - stick with the G10.
Panny SD is good, but as I don't use the internal Freeview, I can only comment on DVD and Virgin co-ax and SCART quality.

I've recently got the v10.

My SD pictures through sky for Bbc, itv and c4 are amazing.

So much so that when I was watching grand designs on tour the other night I had to double check it wasn't HD.

How I managed with a full HD LCD before I'll never know.
