Farm shops around Luton (Bedfordshire, Berkshire & Herts)
Discussion
There's a butchers in Totternhoe, in Chapel Lane, a single track dead end track, the other side of Dunstable to Luton. It's called Hortons, or possibly Hortens, I'm sure google will help you find them.
The family rear their own beef and lamb, the pork comes from down the road and is devine, you'll never want supermarket pork again.
Also to be recommended is the bacon, keeps well for a month in a larder, as real bacon should.
I've a feeling that there is a farm shop the other end of the vilage in church end, as opposed to middle end or lower end, Totternhoe being unusual in having three ends.
Peculiar place but excellent meat.
