Hey guys, 1st time posting in here! So I hope you have some ideas for me.

I will be bed ridden for about two to three weeks, and I want to keep myself entertained.

I am looking for an Electric 10th or 12th scale KIT form rc truck/monster truck for use on and off road.

Budget at the top end around £250 including motor and speed controller - I have radio and servos from my nitro truck.

So far I am quite keen on this

So over to you smile Any ideas welcome

Edited for bad spelling

The SC10 seems to be flavour of the month at the moment. Looking to get the Losi version myself soon but its not in kit form.

Not a lot of options with kits now as most are RTR unless you go the Tamiya route.

Tamiya, are only good for nostalgia reasons I think, Do they still have cheap components?

Anybody have any ideas, otherwise I will probably go for the one listed above!

What about a Tamiya TXT-1? You might just get one within your budget off Ebay, I don't know if the kits come with ESC or not though. They look a suitably meaty kit that should keep you entertained. I've fancied building one for a while now.

I have a couple of other Tamiya kits, parts are readily available and they seem cheap enough.

Another option is Ansmann, Not the greatest but they do have some good stuff amongst the rubbish they do. Especially when they can sell a 'pro kit' for less than other manufacturers sell a basic kit...

Like this little truggy for example, doesnt look to bad i recon!

Ansmann kit for 129 or Associated for 159, Is the Associated a better quality?

I think I would get the 6.5 turn motor with speed controller ( Thats the expensive bit) smile
