Would it be morally wrong for me to get one of these waistcoats for my dog so i can take them into shops with me?

You'd have to walk around with your eyes closed though wouldn't you? Which may give away your dog's spurious claims when you walk into some shelving.

Not if its 'in training'. Blind people don't train them, how would they know where things were to train them

It was a joke .....................

However I don't think I've ever seen a guide dog that is a borzoi (nice dogs), a rottie or a GSP either. In fact I've never seen anything other than a lab.

Did you want to put all of them in a guide dog vest?

None of those breeds spring to mind as guide dog material, and I fear you may have missed the boat if they're older than, say 1 year old. BUT, you'd have an excuse be one of the cool kids and wear sunglasses everywhere regardless.

Oops sorry about that, i'd just come from my lego thread where someone dressed up as a lego man told me to fk off, so was a tad angry.

The plan is to put the GSP or the rottie in one, the other too are too airy fairy to take out to the shops, they stay at home and run wild in our 10 acres of garden.

But the general populace are too thick to realise that, i could explain it's in re-training so it can do deaf people as well.

True, and if they'll fall for that, why not leave your real dog at home and drag around an RSPCA 'Doggie' collection box. That way you could earn some money everytime you go to the shops.

Would you be able to apply for a disabled badge too? Possibly eradicating any door dents the thick public cause by having a spakker parking space near to the shops door.

This idea has legs I think.

It does indeed, maybe i could fashion a can holder to put on the dog and pay for my shop visits in donations?

I say yes. Put it on the Rottie, it's not like any bds going to want to question you!

If they do, just say you're training it for an owner in Hackney as a dual purpose guide and anti-mugging dog
