Would appreciate all comments. Still needs a bit of polishing, and there are still lots of pictures to go on, and some to come off in the galleries... But hopefully it's OK thumbup

I like your site bar 2 things.

The text header is a bit garish, not keen on the font.

And thumbnails.

I deteste different sized thumbnails. All being different sizes makes them look like an after thought.

Can you not manually crop to 200x200 pixels each? Makes the galleries look a lot more even?

I like the front page and the 'relaxed' wording. You need to limit the height of your thumbs in the gallery as they are disappearing off the screen.

You have a button saying 'Book Me' but you don't say what to book you for. The various themes - animals, macro etc - don't lend themselves to attracting paid work (assuming that's what you're after)

Ah yep, I see what you mean. Will re-think the thumbnails.

Currently your images are too pixelated

(I'm not referring to the photo's, I'm referring to the images)
Which images do you mean? The rounded ones on the Galleries page or the thumbnails within the galleries?

the relaxed bit is nice but the two things which I'd comment on (apart from potrait images disappearing off the screen as Steve highlighted) are:
1 - what's the site for? You suggest you want to be booked for paid work so, in that case I'd rip out the majority of the images and only have your very best ones on display. The current "hit" to "miss" ratio (from a punter's point of view) is too low on the site for a punter to choose you compared with plenty of other photographers. That's not meant to be critical of your images but people will only buy from the best. If the site is purely for a "I want to show off my photos in a nice way" purpose then it's nearly ok as is.

2 - The scrollable thumbnails take so little of the screen it seems a bit of a waste of space. Nearly 2/3 of the screen is black - I know I can expand the images I want to look at in more detail but I'd start with them consistently bigger first.

Finally, the "Animals" gallery fails when clicking on it.

Hope the above helps.

just on my way out of work, first impressions are ok!

Use a png for the rounded thingy,
