Anyone ever beaten this quote from HIC:

Fully comp on my 89 G 998 Mayfair with Stage 1, alloys blah blah, including track day cover, for £131??

Seems like a cracking deal to me...

That sounds very good!

Mine is comp with Alliance Direct, standard comp, £50 excess and £83.50 a year!!

I have a funny feeling this is going to go up once the mods are done.

I only pay £145 Fully Comp on my 1993 Italian Job.
That was with Footman James.

HIC trackday cover is worthless.

I checked the small print - it only covers you if you are on the track by yourself, but with full safety marshals present, yet not undergoing any timing or testing of any kind, etc...

So when are you ever going to need cover for driving round a track that doesn't cover any of the above? Incidentally, i'm still with HIC, but don't be fooled by the ads...

About the only 'track' it could cover you for is Drag Racing...

I have been with HIC for 4 years now and I have always been very happy with them, I pay £375 for fully comp on an M-reg 1275cc sprite, considering I am only 24 and this covers my alloy wheels, driving other cars and breakdown cover I think this is very reasonable.
All the staff are freindly and helpfull and I have never waited more than five minuites to get through on the phone.
