Minimum system requirements - Windows 7?

I have an 18 month old Dell OptiPlex small form desktop thingy - that came with Vista as the OS.

It is 2.3Ghz processor and 2Gb of RAM. Seems to run OK on vista - but as I now have a spare Windows 7 upgrade disk - would this PC accomodate Windows 7 OK?

Currently running Win7 RC on my 2.8GHZ AMD/2MB RAM -lot more fun than XP Pro too.Tried to put it on an old laptop(which was crawling XP) ,but it rejected it because of lack of Ram,not speed ( 256ram/500HZ iNTEL)
