altura is good quality gear, i have a few bits of their stuff and i cant fault it for the money.

re bikes, its personal opinion really, fit is vital so should be the deciding factor...

if you can get to a decathalon store, the btwin sport 2 is well worth a look, sora groupset and a carbon fork for that price?!.... for the money i doubt you will get a better bike.

also have a look at the raleigh airlite range which offers better value for money in comparison to the likes of specialized.

Got my specialised allez 16 on the 28th August on the cycle to work scheme. I've done 955 miles on it since then according to the bike computer! Over 200 just last week when I took it to spain for a week. It's a great bike. I've added some crud road guards for all weather riding (didn't need them in spain!) and that's it. Great bike, well happy with it.

The roads, and weather put this place to shame frown
