Yokohama A539's are crap in the snow !! Perhaps there is something to be said for a set of steels with some Colway Mud & Snows........ Except that they would get about two days use every 5 years !!

Even with this handicap I managed my 6 mile journey to work today without a problem. Take care in the conditions out there everyone.

I travel from Doncaster to Gainsborough everyday, and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of snow in Gainsborough compare to home.

I've got dibs on our new mini keys today and found the traction control made a reasonable job of keeping me in check. But that soon got boring so I turned it off

Everyone at work is moaning about the snow, but I love it and am hoping there will be more.

Anyone else enjoy driving in the snow, or am I really the weirdo everyone here thinks I am!

I only wish the engine was back in my rally car, then I could put on the Colway Knobblies and go out and practice my left foot braking.
Should an old geezer of my age be doing this?!

cooperman.......YES YOU SHOULD BE.
If you get bored and fancy a slow sideways journey try a Chimaera though. Couldn't get it over the rumble strip into my estate 'cos the tyres were simply NOT gripping...

My BMW 728i was a bloody handful on the way home last night. Remember - sideways is safest! If in doubt - FLAT OUT!
My daughter asked me when I'm going to grow up and my 9 year old, Mini mad, Grandson said "he's not".
