I was in Halfords in Basingstoke recently and got talking to a Lotus enthusiast who had seen me get out of my TVR. Turns out he owns one of the only two 340R's in Basingstoke. Also has a 160 Sport.

He mentioned something about "the chip run", where Lotus drivers (other performance cars welcome) meet up. Anyone know anything about this?

We should set up a Basingstoke Performance Car Owners meet sometime. e.g. on a Friday at 5:45pm at some pub or other for a swift lemonade (!). Fill the car park and amaze the locals....

Well, with a bit of effort I can bring a Chimaera 500 and a Corrado VR6 (provided my other half drives, of course!), but I'm not sure I'm eligable any more as I moved from Basingstoke to Yateley last weekend.
