Does anyone know what is the commonest (sp) model of FF car available in terms of particular chassis and running gear.

I have half an idea and need to develop it for one model to start..

either that or the most common wheelbase and track would do for starters...

www.brscc.co.uk/default.asp?page=championships

you should then be able to search the championships and make a list of the models that appear from the results lists.....off the top of my head I would imagine it would be a Van Dieman RF88 or a Swift SC90/92

FF has been running since 1967. In the early days Lotus were often the most popular cars. In the 70s and 80s, Van Diemen and Crossle were very popular. Later on Swift and Royale came into the fray and Crossle dropped out. Van Diemen have been the longest serving make, I'd say.

Van Diemen RF86, RF87 and RF88 were/are very popular and were very similar so if you're developing something for one of those it could fit all of them
