Top Gear being positive about drag racing

Makes a change!

Nice to see Smax Smith getting a mention in the March 2004 issue. TG have always seemed to belittle drag racing, so it's refreshing to see them present it in a positive light. It's a great sport to watch and a total assault on the senses. Also pretty free of the egos that affect others arms of motorsport.

All we need now is for someone to give Clarkson or Hammond a ride....

Tiff Needell had a go in a Top Fuel car several years ago for an article in Top Gear and if I remember correctly, when he had his run he bottled it after the first second or so as he couldn't get his head around the power.
