Hi.

I have a Dell 3115cn in my office and have hit a problem that I cannot find a way around.

Dell are not being helpful.

We have (stupidly) run out of yellow ink.

Not a huge problem you'd think as most of our print jobs are black and white.

But I cannot make the printer run in black and white.

I have changed all the setting to B&W but the bloody thing still says it won't print as it is out of yellow ink.

Has anyone had this problem before and knows if there is a way around it. Dell will not be able to deliver a replacement cartridge until Wednesday at the earliest.

Thanks

You are unlikely to be able to bypass it, it is probably a feature frown

Yep, thought so.

A feature that is likely to end up with the bloody thing leaving via a window.
