Friday night ferry

Unfortunately I can't get any more time off work so I've got to travel down on Friday and back on Sunday. Anyone got a recommendation for the ferry? I'm south-west London so I can do either Portsmouth or Dover fairly easily

I your pushed to get a ferry the tunnel is usually easy enough to get a crossing on, although a hike on the way back
