It may be controversial, but surely if her son hadn't killed a guy in the first place, their murder was unlikely to have happened?

It was hardly as if the son had killed the first guy in a moment of madness, it must have been premeditated, that kind of affects my views slightly.

Glad no-one else was hurt.

I felt quite sorry for them, I mean they look like ordinary people, maybe it wasn't their fault that ther son got involved with gangsters and ended up a murderer. Then I studied that photo in more detail and saw how short the gentleman's tie was and concluded that they must have deserved it.

Yes but were they actaully on a witness protection scheme?. Its says they were renting that bungalow, maybe they just moved themselves. if they were in a witness scheme surely none of thier names or address would appear on a bt database. The lowlifes who passed their information from bt were given suspended sentences, and sacked form Bt, I strongly disagree with this, mandatory 5 year sentence should arise for passing any information to ANYBODY from a confidential database. lets be honest you KNOW its for a dubious purpose, they arent going to send them a birthday card, people take risks under a labour government beacuse they know thye can get away with it. suspended sentence. pah.

Update; apparantly it was a police 'safe' house. Thats confusing why would thier name appear on a bt list if it was a police safe house, strange..

Yes think youre right there. It was a bodged operation all the way through. If they were at serious risk they should have been given untraceable mobiles for example.
