Due to the changeover of the PH calendar system it's not clear how many Porsche drivers/Porsche board regulars are attending the Virginia Waters meet on sunday.

Anyone fancy a pre-meet at about 10.30am? Easier to put names to new faces than when we're scattered amongst the TVR owning masses!!

Suggest the usual place, in the car park around the back of Scuderia Systems offices in Egham. Directions are M25, take Egham bypass towards Virginia Waters, at the Maranello Ferrari Dealership Roundabout, turn first left (almost doubling back on yourself), then left again then right into the car park.

So then who is attending the main meet and who wants to meet up slightly earlier at say 10.30am.

Posting same message on the Fezza/Maser/Lambo board.

Dependant on outcome of GT3 Dyno day at G-Force on the Saturday [i.e. not blown up etc] and the weather I may travel down from MK for a look

Please explain - for a newcomer - what happens at the VW meet. Is it just a social occasion? How difficult to park? Any other info appreciated.

There is plenty of room to park, just make sure you have your £4 change in the car to pay into the automatic barrier as you drive in. There is a pub to retire to when you've had enough of standing in a cold car park looking at sports cars

See you at Scuderia at 10.30 Daz. Sounds like there's going to be a good turnout.

I hope so (250 mile round trip the day after an England Rugby match pub session!!!). Looks like Frostie is turning up as well with the loudest 550 I've ever heard.

No. I'm going to the Titanic 944 meet at Reading instead. (and going the the Porsche GB motorsport open day at the same time)

All 944's welcome, but I'm not sure anyone with an engine where the gearbox should be will be let in...

If you don't mind a Porsche to be interloper we may turn up in the RS6.

The TVR is being serviced and the GT3 still some 5 months away!

Don't mind at all, it's not a specific car type meet, just a chance for people who often contribute on the Porsche and the Fezz/Lambo/Maser boards to meet and put names to faces before we descend on the main meet where we will be in the minority amongst the army of Tiv owners. Look forward to seeing the RS6. 5 months wait for the GT3 eh, have you specced it yet?

Not yet, still mulling over the options, definitely clubsport, need aircon unfortunately as daily driver and would like PCCB (but qms over reliability and cost for replacement). Other than that prob just Xenon lights, Speed Yellow, centre console in exterior colour, silver dials.

Then Rennsport bonnet and boot!
