its not confiemd yet, but its more then likely to be Group C cars in action. Bloody fantastic. Porsche 962's, Le Mans winning Jaguar's and the Aston AMR1.

Yes, that's excellent news. I wonder what the lap times will be compared to the modern cars. I guess they won't be too much off today's pace.

Well that is the best bit of news I’ve had today! We got nice and early last year to watch the classic race and missed most of the traffic as well so what better reason to get up early with a hangover than to listen to the sound of a Jag V12 at full chat.

In my humble opinion Group C was the best series of racing ever, bar none…..And once again IMHO the FIA or indeed the ACO would do well to consider the set of rules that led to this great series I’m sure they must be in the bottom of a dusty filling cabinet somewhere Let’s face it, the current offering is not even on the same planet. Granted by the time the 3.5 litre formula was considered the way forward the writing was firmly on the wall but the sound of a Sauber C9, Aston AMR01, ‘That Mazda’, a Jag XJR 9, the Nissan fleets of Cosworth powered C2’s and countless other big banger C1’s was truly fantastic, happy days
