setting up member profile

can anyone tell me in simple terms how i can get a photo of my car on my member profile?

Picture needs to be stored somewhere on the internet. Once done copy and paste the URL (internet address) of the picture and slot it into the space provided in the update your profile page.

I couldn't get mine to work for ages so found someone who had webspace and emailed him the photo, he then hosts it and emailed back the URL.

hmmm.... well i've done it, but it's not a picture in the body of the text, it's a bloooomin' link. i must be inept.

Its because you've dropped in a url that resolves to a page on Webshots. If its possible with Webshots, get a url that resolves to just the picture on its own and Robert's your mother's live in lover.
