speaking to my OPC about ordering one and was told that possibly the initial line up would consist of a base model (c2) and an 's' model with more power (much the same as the current boxster line up)

anyone else heard this?

I've heard rumours that there will be no Turbo or GT2/GT3 for the 997 lineup. The 998 will be out around 2 years after the 997 and will be a lot different.

I was told that there will only be narrow body 997s ie C2/C4 but no S or Turbo widebodies.
