At the moment I don't pay anything, but was thinking about switching to one of the paid versions for the mobile cover and breakdown service. Gold I think it is.

Is it any good?

I've got it.

I've claimed £440 from them for a stolen iphone, wasn't easy, but I got it from them eventually. No idea about the rest. But it saved me 1% apr on loans and credit cards too.

I've had the gold account for a few years. The intial reason that I got it was for the travel insurance and breakdown cover. About a month ago my iphone took a trip through the washing machine and I (funnily enough) also received a cheque for £440 when I was expecting a reconditioned phone. My claim ran smoothly.

I stopped mine for the following reasons:
Travel cover was no use when wife was expecting baby and we were flying before cutoff from airlines for pregnant women.
Was told I did not have to do anything except pay the fee when I enroled on the programme and then when I needed to claim on my phone I was advised I had no cover (so if you do take it out regester your phone and also if you change your phone tell them)

Home insurance I could get cheaper by shopping around.

The fee kept going up each year and I got fed up.

To be honest I don't think there will be free bank accounts for much longer so you might as well get use to paying!
