Light chassis reccommendation
Discussion
Hi,
I used to race karts and have a spare engine, it is a CR85 honda engine, tuned to within an inch of it's life producing around 32hp, fitted with fancy ceramic bearings, coated gears etc. I've had it for a while now since I went to 125 ICC and later stopped racing all together and it seems a waste that it's just sat there.
So I'd like to buy a chassis, less engine to put the motor in to make a real high revving lightweight bike. I'm not bothered about it only being an 85, the kart it was fitted to with me sat in it was about 155kg and it could rag me around like a doll and spin the wheels with ease.
So can anyone reccomend me a bike to look out for? Was thinking Mito, Rs125, anything else??
Thanks in advance!

Yamaha TZR125
Honda NSR125
Gilera DNA or a scooter chassis might be a laugh too...!
Keep us posted, sounds like a great project
depends on the budget.
you could start with a production frame, ideally a mito 125 or aprillia rs125 frame.
or you could go route number 2 and buy a ready made supersingle chassis, many people make them, the most popular being tigcraft, whatever you do dont use the frames of any of the production 50cc bikes as they are proper pants, with that sort of 'power' you would overload the chassis and it suspension quite easily.
