Indeed it is and has been for a while.
So long as not much changes you should be able to use any edits you make in the fully released version, though Abobe do point out that they won't absolutely guarantee compatibility just in case they find they need to change something late in the day.
However the Beta, based on past experience, will stop working at some point meaning that some or all of the edits you have created will no longer be available unless you by the full product. If you have loaded the original image files into the internal database and are relying solely on that for storage you will, I believe, also need the full application to be able to get at them later.
It's quite an interesting application to play with, does a lot of good things and has caught up in some areas where it was not so strong as some other recent offerings. Just be prepared to cough up for the licence and be careful about the settings you use when storing files.
