Sony Ericsson W705 - internal storage

Hello folks,

Really serious problem here. Hope you can help.

I have a Sony Ericsson W705 phone which is wrecked. The top part and bottom part have been ripped apart.

I have my baby's pics on the phone. I know there is a 120mb internal memory and also a 4 gb external card on the phone.

My question is when photos are taken are they stored automatically to the phone memory or the external memory card?

On my similar phone (W890) it would save on the memory card if you had one plugged in, it used the internal memory for downloaded games, ringtones etc.
You can buy a memory stick micro reader for £1 from here, this will let you view the contents of your memory stick on your PC.

SE's store images on the media card by default if one is present, so you should still be able to get at them.
