Yes Yes its very ironic that I need help getting a dog to the Isle of Dogs, but once over that point... I have a friend who needs to get her Pharaoh Hound, one of these:

back to her flat now its been through quarantine.

The flight is on the 21st of July and it leaves at 19:30 from Helsinki and will be in London a 20.40. The only thing is that I will be able to collect my dog as soon as they get all the paperwork and vet to see all is ok with my dog coming into the UK which means that I will be able to get the dog with me home hopefully by 12pm latest. It will be hard to say the exact time since they will not know at the airport either all will depend on the possible other animals, vet etc. That is another reason why I would need a car that would be rented etc since the tube might not go anymore etc.

My dog is a quite big dog and weighs 23kg which isn´t that heavy but still, plus I will need to take the carrier box with me from the airport the same day which also weighs 23kg, then there are my luggage etc so using a tube etc is not really a good option and something I am trying to avoid, plus I will have my dog a bit sedated for the trip meaning the quicker we get back home etc. is good. Also when sedated I will not be able to carry him in my arms all the way to the tube and DLR etc etc...

I will be able to pay the person helping etc.
I cant get a rental car at the moment, she cant as she has only just passed her test and just moved to London so not much chance of letting her near a vehicle... Her OH is out of the country on business and the few mates that I am trying to negotiate with cant do it due to commitments/not being in the country/cant rent vehicle.

So has anyone got any ideas on how to get her and her dog across London late at night?

Taxi is the last resort due to the expense.

Is there any type of service for this type of thing?

Taxi, But as you stated... expensive.

Try a pre-booked airport transfer service?.

When does the dog need collecting?

I'm not up to much, and could drive down on Tuesday if it helps??
I'm only in MK, so not too far.

A late night dog taxi? I can't see there'd be much demand tbh.

Looking on google there are a few pet taxi services in and around london - might be worth a call.
