Anyone in retail stock control?

Just wondering if anyone knows salary levels for store level stock control managers in any of the big supermarkets?
8 years ago i'd have known but all my contacts have moved in different directions....

24-27k I believe for tesco. In asda you get moved around departments and earn abit more every time you move.

3 months placement in which you are on whatever pay you are previous to the post. Then IF you pass the placement you are interviewed, scored and salary can vary on how well the interview goes.
Most managers are on 26k basic now I believe as they're all classed as duty managers.

Hmm interesting, been toying with going back to retail as on top of that you'll get staff discount and probably share options if it's not changed dramaticlaly?

You certainly do! Yeh you get good shares with a certain employer. However you do sell your soul to the devil. A truely awful company. But every store is different. And it will be more enjoyable the higher up the ladder you claw. Iv been told the area manager is on 150k upwards, every little helps...

Couldn't be worse than when I worked for a certain wholesaler, 18 hour days at least 3 times per week...!!!
