bought new twin N wireless adapter for xbox 360 last week. have followed instructions with installation disk and plugged adapter into box correctly....green flashing light showing so looking for wireless signal. next stage should be NETWORK SETTINGS, CONFIGURE NETWORK, BASIC SETTINGS WIRELESS SETTINGS. problem is that wireless settings are not available.

i have tried moving the wireless router off the floor, moved the xbox to top of stairs in direct view of wireless router, but still no joy.

i have a 11 year old who no longer thinks I'm God so any assistance advice would be of great help

Could be the way you have set up your wireless router.

I have found that a wireless N BRIDGE works better on the XBOX. That way you can run an ethernet cable as long as you want and place the bridge in the most advantageous spot for your wireless network (and can also pre-setup the bridge to be generating the connection so no faffing about with xbox settings)

Some choices (in the US)

Newegg linksys linky

Amazon Linky to above's Predecessor
