A stone has sadly made a right bloody mess of my Chimaera... I know the spare parts don't cost too much money, so I am wondering if it's advisable to try and DIY it...? Anyone tried it? I understand it might be a bit tricky. Is it better to part with the cash (I tihnk it works out at over 100 quid to get it done by a garage)?
Thanks.

[Can you recommend a good independent in east Anglia?]

If replacing headlamp lens - beware. When fitting the new lens, put rubber seal in place (ridges facing outwards), apply sealant, put lens in place and then put plastic headlamp surround in place to make sure it all fits. Once it looks snug, remove surround to make sure it doesn't get stuck to the sealant holding the lens in and then leave to dry before re-fitting the surround. Unfortunately I learnt the hard way and had to do it twice!
