Bit dear methinks...by the time you've repaired and painted it, that is.

"Will supply a repairable bonnet" thanks mate.

A nice touch was showing the reg number, so everyone will know your car was the damaged one.

BTW American Dreams (Peter Truchan) has a reduced his 1998 convertible to £19,950 and there's a black 98 coupe for £18,950.

C6 is on the way...

Yeah, I saw this as well Malc. I agree that the price is too high given that there is a lot more needed than the seller indicates to get this together - a new front end and all lights etc as least.
Strange that it needs rear fog lghts - it seems to have a UK reg (with US lights) - are the fogs needed for SVA or is it due an mot, I wonder?

The C6 is bound to have an effect on C5 pricing - GM are heavily discounting the remaining European C5 stocks and I have taken advantage of their generosity. Peter is also selling an anniversary at £34950 which looks good value to me for a new car.
I'm buying now because I am getting the car I have always wanted at a price I like and hopefully I will be able to hang on to it. I am at the top of my budget and really do not want to spend any more on a new C6.
Incidentally, I have heard that GM are currently looking to appoint (or perhaps that should read re-appoint) 10 dealers in the UK which should ease any warranty concerns - I will be lobbying them for a dealership in Bournemouth please.
