Decade In Pictures..
Discussion
Just found this on another forum;

Very interesting! I was 10 when the past Decade started so this was when I was growing up.. I remember all of it apart from the Pope picture & R.Regan passing away.
I'd say that by 2019 when this current decade is finishing, the pictures, or atleast of the war and terrorism incidents will probably still be part of it.. Different pictures & maybe places but it seems that now on, we will always be involved in a war somewhere.. Usually not our war.

Some incredible and moving pictures in there especially the aftermarth of the Tsunami and the Hurricanes. Shame there are so many of the war, but sadly that is the story of the last decade war and terrorism. A great link all the same and has made me take stock of what life is about. You have to live it and enjoy it as best you can.

Not only that, it makes you think about how lucky we really are living in this country. For all its faults, and for all we moan about it, seeing those pictures of people, especially kids, in war zones makes me feel very privileged.andyjo1982 said:

The picture of the mother with her dead 6 year old son is really moving, the same age as my son and I could not even begin to imagine the level of pain and grief this must cause and I pray I never have to, poor woman.
Agreed.A very moving photo.
I still find any 9/11 photography hard to see too.
