Anyone recommend any West Mids networking events?

I really must get out more!.... does anyone know of/attend any good business networking events around the West Mids - Solihull area ideally but open to suggestions. I've never really got into such things but I feel I should make the effort! Opinions welcome.

I can't think of any.
Are they specific to any certain industry?

All i can think of it trying to track down some fund raising dinners and see who else turns up.

I go to a few occasionally - BNI at Hogarths in Dorridge, a different BNI at the Village Hotel in Shirley, Solihull Chamber of Commerce early birds (now at the Royal Oak in Hockley Heath) and I know the FSB is doing breakfast events too. All 7.00am starts...

Yes. Keep an eye out for Midlands Business insider magazine. They do regular breakfast events which you can network/ go to talks.

Its one we use quite a lot. Also have a look in the business pages of the local paper- note who has had events, and ask to be included on their mailing lists. You should get invited to future events this way
