OK. I'm about to do exactly what I always said I wouldn't, and keep the 355 whilst I'm out of the country for a while.

So, does anyone know anywhere decent that stores cars? And if so, what are ball park costs for a 12mth stay?

Before anyone suggests it, I have a queue about a mile long of people willing to look after it for me (thanks guys).

Please tell me this is a silly idea as that way I won't get Ajay and Manu to fit me a Tubi before I go away

Currently Surrey, folks oop North.

As I'll be away a while, don't really mind where it gets stored.

Best thing to do is look in the back of mags like Classic and Sportscar they have listings there.

I use these guys and have found them to be very efficient and helpful.

Matt the guy who runs the place is a nice guy and a bit of a car nut, they've got some nice old stuff that they look after (DB4, Daytona, Bentley) as well as the moderns, only downside is they are based close to Stanstead airport which may be too far for you...

Thanks all. Contacting plenty of firms now.

Sadly the ball park figures all look OK so I think a tubi will be going on next week if Ajay can get me an appointment and they don't mind me hanging round to watch...

A friend keeps his 550 Maranello at Kent HP Cars in Maidstone. Obviously there's a servicing deal involved as well.

Close to Stansted you say? I'd say that was the place to store the car Murph - I'd be happy to visit once a week to run my eye over it and even warm her up for you...

If you get stuck for a short while let me know.

I have warehouses in Widnes and we could keep her here for a short while, if you wish. If you provide the cover, I'd happily fire her up once a week for you and keep an eye on her.

That might give you time to find a longer term solution.

Much appreciated Dave.

I'll be using the car for a couple of months and will have a long term soln by then before buggering off for a while.
