I did my theory test this morning, and passed it
I did a few practice tests on the Driving Test Success discs. Was getting 48-50 marks on each practice I did. Only got 45 marks in my actual test, got screwed over with a few questions about stopping distances/motorcycle trailer size limits.
If you did the new ish style theory test for your car license it's a piece of piss, just common sense.

I'd offer you my Driving Tes Success cd's as I won't need them now, but doubt I'd get them posted soon enough.
Have you checked out the DSA website? There's 2 official practice tests to take on there for free. Hopefully someone knows what I'm on about and can post a link, I'm on the iPhone so cant

A question I had was what is the max width trailer a bike can tow?
Also, a picture of a sign and asked what it means. It was a blue circle, 30 in it, with a red line through it. Having a car license I should probably know what road signs mean. But does anyone know the sign I'm on about? I've genuinely never seen this sign on the road and wonder what it means.

Depends, I did my car one 6 years ago and my bike one two weeks ago.
Stressed loads over the car one and ended up passing the hazard perception by exactly 0 marks (i.e I got 44)
The bike one I blitzed both sections - dunno if it is because I am older and wiser (pfft) or that I had been driving for ages and knew what to look for in the hazard perception (that dhead is going to step out I bet *click* etc.)
In reality, you the question bit should never trip you up, most of the questions are fairly simple and more common sense than anything else - obviously the stopping distances etc. can mess you up, but there are enough easy ones for you to pass. The hazard perception I would recommend a bit of revision for - if only so you are aware how it is marked.

There's a few free tests you can do on line. Google bike theory test.
I just clicked on one and it asked what percentage of CO2 emission come from cars / bikes etc. WTF has that got to do with driving ability?
ETA Here it is http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DG_40...
Woohoo - just passed.
Who'd have thought that on a bike every time you come to a cross roads you should sound your horn if no clear right of way exists.

Same as me I got 44 on my car one 4 years ago and scored very highly on the bike one despite it thinking I was cheating in one of the clips.Stressed loads over the car one and ended up passing the hazard perception by exactly 0 marks (i.e I got 44)

It seems they don't share my view that women drivers and hazards.

This site is amazing - http://www.all4bikers.com/theory/
I did my theory just over a month ago and at least 10 of the questions on the website came up in the actual test, highly recommend you spend several hours doing it over and over again!
