Motherboard reccs
Discussion
Apologies if someone's done this recently, I did trawl back a few pages...
Anyone got any recommendations for current (but not bleeding edge due to price) motherboards that can take an Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+? More interested in features than anything else, and things like number of USB connectors, onboard controllers etc etc.
Maybe in microATX, but not definitely (changing case and whatnot and I haven't found one yet, so a stonking board might drive which type of case to get, if you follow me).
Usage is going to be primarily media based, with the odd bit of Lightroom & Photoshop. I don't tend to game on the PC these days, I've gone to the 360 for that.
Actually, given that, I could probably ditch my GeForce and go for a board with onboard graphics. HDMI out would be handy.
(actually, I wouldn't be above replacing the processor, if there's a particular "killer combo" around at the mo)
Support for the latest memory types would be good, too.
