Chromium browser (Linux)
Discussion
This may be a repost, I have searched but nothing obvious comes up, sorry if it is.
Anyway, I've used Chrome on my windows PCs and been averagely-whelmed; whilst capable it didn't seem to offer anything over the Firefox browser that has been my default for some years, certainly not the promised vast speed increases. Today I tried the Chromium browser on Ubuntu, and there is definitely a faster response and pages build much more quickly than on the FF browser.
Worth a try if you are using Linux as a desktop OS.
