Dear Garlick, Pete et al.

Please make these bloody adverts that have sound stop, it's not exactly ideal when I'm trying to browse covertly in the office, or listen to the radio.

My case in point is that for some reason due to my work all websites think I'm in France (dunno why as I work for a Japanese company!) but there is often an advert that pops up with a baby laughing/crying on it.

Ok, I can turn the sound off on it, but it really isn't necessary and if anything will surely only put people off from browsing the site.

Is there anything you can do to stop these 'noisy ads' please?

cheers

Mr Will

We have a blanket "No sound in adverts" policy, but sometimes one slips through the net and finds its way onto the site, especially if you are out of the country.

Can you take a screenshot next time it appears and I'll try and get it nuked?

Unfortunately different adds appear each time you view a page, so I can't see it (or hear it!) by following that link.

I have passed a screen shot on to our ads team though so that they can remove it.
