Any one going to Brands this weekend to watch the Palmer Audi ???

If so please can you give me an unbiased opinion of #68.

Also any one got any ideas if these races are shown on TV.

Due to family commitments i cannot make it, even though i was on the promise of full hospitality...

I have just back from Qualifying. I shall be going tommorow as well.

No 68 is Chris Pennington. He had an almighty scrap with Number 6, Jonathan kennard for Pole. I think 68 got it... just.

He seemed a very amooth driver, certainly better then a lot of them, who understeer/oversteer/understeer around Druids. No 29, for example.

David "Kid" Jensen's son, Viktor came (I think) 6th. I think 14, Stuart Prior was 3rd. I cannot remember anyone else. But the italian woman, Francesca Pardini (very attractive looking, but odd helmet design) got 7th.

In the pits, side by side: Lotus Elise, GT3, Aston Vanquish and 996 Turbo. A bit further down an BMW M3 kept sounding its alarm. I liked to think it was intimidated by this lot!!!

Should be great raceing tommorow, if the weather holds.

Yep thats Chris....just checked on mst-group.co.uk and he got pole for the 1st race and starts the 2nd race from 2nd on the grid.....

I hope you enjoy the day, i wish i was there....

Chris should be ok at Brands, he won the Kent County formula ford championship a few years ago and has been there or there abouts since.

Be interesting to see how he gets on at the other circuits, Monza etc

PS if any one is impressed he can only afford 1/2 the season due to sponsorship, so if anyone has approx £26,500 he might like to hear from you....

Did you see the Lime Green version of your namesake in the paddock on saturday???

Today was wet and cold, and produced some great racing, apart from the Radicals who misbehanved as usual...

IMO, I would say on Sunday's evidence, he's a bit of a fair weather racer. Didn't really get to see much of the first race but in the second, he just seemed to do very little really!

Great day though - despite the weather!

By the way Williamp - is your Porker an F Reg blue one - parked up on South Bank on Sunday?

Silver Mondeo Zetec! I was wondering around Graham Hill area in wellies with a couple of nippers and a Ferrari brolly

I did see you drive off and thought it may be you but figured that if it wasn't, I would need another !

Know that Focus RS well! It's always there and never ceases to amaze me that no matter how muddy or cruddy Brands is, it always looks like he's just driven out of the showroom.

All being well, I should be there for the TCs. Will know nearer the weekend - always up for a beer and/or chat with fellow PHrs!

No? How could I miss it I was walking round the paddock most of the time. One of my favourite cars

And when I wasn't at the paddock I was in the GP Track, great that they're using, my dad's cousin seemed quite amazed. Watching them going down the hill is great

Yes, the GP track is quite amazing, although really too muddy on Sunday to wander around with normal shoes on.

In a longer race its always worth wondering around the track- when I go with my dad he normally sits in one place, but I like to wonder.

Oh, Steviebee: If you fancy a chat then come over and say Hi! I live in Kent and have a season ticket, so I go most weekends for a few hours. I whould be there next Sunday, but not Saturday.

The race should be quite busy (always nice- I went to a race back in April and they had 24 people through the gates!!!) so I will probably get there early.

That's nearly a sell out for Snetterton!

Went to meeting there last year and I think I was the only person who had paid to go in (and that was with a season ticket).

I have a pass too, live near Chelmsford and go to pretty much everything as well - so I'll keep an eye out for you!
