I was really pleased to see that result - top rookie as well

I hope the series proves to be a success for him.

I think I saw it on Motors TV. No other channel I could see were covering it live.

How do I get Motors TV on an NTL package?

Um....not sure. I get mine through Sky, you might have got is last year easily enough on NTL as it was free but it now comes as part of the Sky Sport package (only Eurosport is free now), correct me if I'm wrong anyone as they've changed things around at the begining of the year.

Motors TV - NTL link click here seems to be a known issues.

Thanks for that - I might just give it a go - al;though getting through to NTL is notoriously difficult.

Been catching up on reading over the weekend. This position is made even more impressive by the fact that JW's team mate is down in 17th place.

I know that the cars are not anywhere near as different as F1, but beating your team mate by that margin must mean something (even if it is that your team mate is sh1t ).

And he's doing Le mans now too !

With Ralph Firman in a kind of "Brits thrown out of F1 because they didn't have a sugar daddy with millions" kind of way.

We may also get a Champ car round at Brands - which would be a "hoon"

And with Champ Car dropping the stupid mandatory fuel stop rule from last year this years race shoul dbe better than last. I've even heard a rumour they may use the full GP circuit but I'm not sure what has become of it.

Now that would be good. Thought the race on the Indy circuit was a bit dull - no point having cars that powerful if you're not going to let them stretch their legs a bit.

Saw it at Brands when it was their. Pretty much like F1 on a small circuit. After first few laps it gets boring. Probably because they weren't really going very fast because it's such a small circuit and had to save fuel etc...

But Touring Cars was better I think
