I watched the FIA GTs on TV over the weekend and was amazed how quick that Lambo was on its first proper race !!

It kept up with the 550's of Pro-drive quite easily and was leading at one point.

Didn't understand why it won't be competing in the next few races though.... anyone know why?

It was in effect a pre-delivery test run by Reiter Engineering who build the cars.

The season entry is for DAMS racing - not yet clear when they take delivery but my guess is that with the result at the weekend they'll be quite eager to do so!

There will be two cars running in the ALMS too and a further pair in the Japanese GT Championship

Now there's a championship which I really like, the Japanese GT Championship !!

Those cars are amazing. The Supras looks great even though at round one they were robbed of 1st place by the 350Z.

I heard a rumour a year or two ago that a team was planning on entering a Supra and a Skyline in the British GT championship. But then the brit series changed the rules again and the cars couldn't enter.
