Started 2011 with a bang (an ACL bang)

Well, after having my left knee rebuilt in March, I thought I was in good shape - but unfortunately I seem to have popped my right knee! Lifting something heavy last night, felt like I'd been kicked in the back of my knee, tumbled to the ground in a big heap!

The awesomeness continues by me being on holiday in the US, so expecting a big hospital bill (I went as I wanted to be sure I was ok to fly home) - hopefully my insurance will cover this though.

Having 'done' my other ACL, I'm pretty sure thats what the problem was... although the ER doctor thought it could just be a slight tear as there isnt too much swelling.

So... wheelchair booked for the airport tomorrow. Great!
