Not too sure that this is the best way to establish yourself as a front line F1 contender - singing all of the praises of the series then walking out after one race. I'm starting to think that this was all he could get this year

Autosport said:
Former Jordan Grand Prix driver Ralph Firman has walked out on his drive in the Dallara Nissan World Series, and is instead driving for Racing for Holland in Le Mans testing today (Sunday).

Firman quit the Gabord Reyco squad after a disappointing weekend in the series opener at Jarama. In practice for this weekend's second round at Zolder, Firman was again off the pace – 15th fastest overall. However, Firman does plan to return to the team provided it builds up its technial structure.

He left Zolder on Saturday and journeyed to Le Mans, where he is testing Racing for Holland's Dome prototype ahead of next month's 24 Hours having clinched a deal to partner Tom Coronel and Justin Wilson

"To be in a competitive car at Le Mans is something I've always wanted to do," said Firman. "With these three drivers this is a very strong package."
