Vectra 1,9 cdti, engine noise (POP) and now no acceleration

Hi All, new to the forum so this may have been covered before.

Vectra 1,9 cdti 204000 miles (K200). 54 plate

Traveling home from work, a POP sound from the engine and loss of acceleration, was able to struggle home at a max of 2000 RPM. I am now very worried.

I'm not an expert but could be a turbo hose popping off meaning no boost, if so it's not a major issue.

Has a hose popped off from anywhere?

Intercooler pipe popped off, or the side's blown off the intercooler itself.

Yep - I reckon it's this - happened to me in a Mondeo Tdci whilst overtaking on the M25 and I struggled to get the bd to stay at 70!

Should have a lot of smoke out of the exhaust too if that's happened.

Reckon we're on the right track with one of the hoses.
