Button to sort pages in a thread

What do you think about having a button that will let us read the 1st page (starting comment), then we click a button which will reverse the page order, and will show the last comments in the thread. much quick than clicking on page 8 and scrolling down a long page, which can be a pain when one is in topic surfing mode.

you can set how you wish to view them in your preferences.
I view them with the newest one at the top. Also means you see the newest page when going into a thread.

BUT....
In order to get this to work I have to update my prefeerences EVERY time I log on.

I have the same settings as you but no need to keep applying it. How odd.
