Hey all,

I've taken a few 720p videos on my iPhone, which are .mov format, I was wondering what video editing software people recommend? Windows movie maker doesn't work with .mov files and I'd rather not convert them and lose quality. I'm not looking for super professional software, rather just the equivalent of iMovie for windows.

That would've been okay for some of what I wanted to do, but the video was of the inside of my car and I had to edit out some of the audio.

You don't realise what you're saying sounds so stupid at the time.

Well, you can do that with iMovie. Can you not alter audio with the iOS version?

Not with the iPhone version I don't believe, I think you can change the whole audio track or add music but not much else.

Sony Vegas is incredible if you can get your head around it, although as your probably aware, Windows machines aren't really cut out for editing videos. A Mac is tho.
