Spot the Yank! (well, duh!)
Sorry Brian, that combination wouldn't be a valid UK licence plate.

I'm not a fan of personal plates as I think it's the big car, small dick school of thought.

However, on a 4x4 near me is a chap with MRS I CAN on his. Now that's a man with a sense of humour....

So, you have a Hot Vb then, what's that?

I do find it annoying that people add screws and bend didgets to say a word that isn't there. The worst I witnessed used to be our RO name M GRIX made from M6 RLK (or similar) - needed loads of screws and still looked an abortion.

Best accidental one I saw when new was on a P100 pick-up reg. J46UAR - bet he didn't realise it! Or how about ORG45M?

Steve Parrish, the well-known truck racing champion, had a Merc with the reg: PEN15.
I've also seen Joe Bugner, the former boxer, who had
1 ONU on his Roller
I've also seen UPU2 on a Mini a long time ago.
On a BMW in Hitchin there's 1 FKM and A1 80LX is on a new Bentley also in Hitchin.

Used to see PEN15 regualarly in early 70's on an E-type. Also WOM13 (not quite so endearing).

UPU 2 used to be on a road/race Spitfire around that time too. Saw it at Brands regularly.

Oops! - forgot about new-style numbers. Quite fancy 000 4 TVR (if I had a new one!)

I still think the photograph of Fiona Richmond and her Mini outside DVLC (as it was then) takes the biscuit. The registration was ... FU2.

My favourite paired registrations (seen many moons ago in Whitefield, Gtr Manchester) ... 2 B OR and NOT 2 B - always parked that way round on the drive.

Saw B45TED on a yellow Ferrari as it blew past at warp factor 9 a couple years back up near Stone. It's all I managed to spot in the Nano second the car was in sight

Incidently for those called Jill, there are over 600 J111*** and J111Y** plates for 250 quid from DVLA.
I got one for the wife, cause her sister told me she's hate it!

I wanted C666UNT for my C reg mk2 cav but it don't come up on DVLA's website.

L4 RGE on my old bosses Ferrari (LARGE) - referring to the size of his gut rather than anything else (allegedly).

P1 GFU on a VW Polo (PIG FU). I bet the police loved him!

And a local lad has got D412 RYL spaced so badly that it looks like DARYL.

I would point out that the bloke who owns the first number plate has a little collection of them. That's just the best of them.
