INSURANCE question

the policy on the disco ends on Monday mid day with esure. new policy with admiral started on Saturday. Wife clipped another cars wing mirror today. So who do i claim with. Old or new policy ?

I'd claim with new policy otherwise you have to notify them of the accident and they'll load your policy and or start asking awkward questions as to why you had two insurance policies on the motor.

I'm not sure what that response is meant to indicate.

You claim with the new policy which started yesterday. Though frankly, for a wing mirror, I'm not sure I'd be claiming on insurance.

Someone once rear-ended my car the day before the policy was due to expire and I already had another one in place. On calling the old company, they said they were still the insurers therefore they would deal with it.
