And as for Janet Street Porter saying in the Daily Wail yesterday that she had been expected to give a BJ - I find it hard to believe that somebody would be prepared to risk his tackle in between those teeth...!
She too should name names or shut up.
Wonder who it was though....
They have the very real problem now of being sued for slander, given that it will be *very* hard to prove anything after such a long time has passed. Shocking, but there you are.And as for Janet Street Porter saying in the Daily Wail yesterday that she had been expected to give a BJ - I find it hard to believe that somebody would be prepared to risk his tackle in between those teeth...!

Given the systematic abuse of children by Catholic priests, does anyone find it supremely ironic that Savile received a papal knighthood (Knight Commander of the Order of Saint Gregory the Great)?
If he did do what is alleged one might be forgiven for thinking the 'gong' was a reward for his efforts.

I'm not sure what the PH massive think of the way these girls are dressed - are they looking to impress, or is just for comfort...
They certainly seem to have got the attention of one person!
This will probably get me tagged as a 'perv', but is there a hint of wardrobe malfunction? Or is it a pixel failure on my iPad?http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2214350/...

The list of those who knew grows: Brian Hitchens (for 45 years), Paul Connew (interviewed two credible women), Liz Kersha and Paul Gambaccini (an "open secret").
"And no-one said a thing."
The quote attributed to Edmund Burke comes to mind: "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

PS - we'll know it's really bad when Cameron apologises for the BBC's (in)action - S

But why does Cameron need to apologise? IF it is true it should be the bosses of the BBC. Talking of which, wasn't Rantzen married to a BBC high up at one stage?Streaky
Now it appears that staff at Stoke Manderville knew of him "cruising" the wards seeking girls to abuse. Before his "ward rounds", it is now suggested that staff advised potential targets to pretend to be asleep.
Nine police forces are now investigating complaints.
Certainly there will be some who try to jump on the band-wagon, but the weight of allegation and the names of some claiming to have knowledge (some very personal) is strongly suggestive that there is -and was - a case to answer.
However, we should be careful not to judge wholly by the mores of today - a mistake too easily and too often made.
