Evenin,,

Question:

Would i be allowed to take a picture of a Camera Van/ car with plod & hand held laser thing ?

Why you ask?

I've seen some that have been placed rather sneakly & I'd like to share them with the world. so would Mr. Policeman be able to stop me taking pictures?

I used to take pictures of people taking pictures of me in my Talivan.....it made me happy, especially when they ran off.
However I didn`t mind anyway, I would let people have a look round the van if they wanted to..in any event we were always cleary visible.

If you're in a public place/right of way you take take photos of whatever you want and publish them however you like. It's probably not a good idea to obstruct what they are doing though.

Ive taken many a photo but still keep missing our local scamera van who parks half on the pavement and totally obstructs a cycle lane causing cyclists to swerve into the road.

But one day I will get him!

At least he is visible I guess. Mind you not to my next door neighbour who is retired Bib and managed to sail right past him at way over the limit! Oops!

Is that correct?
iirc if the 'object' you are taking a picture of is in clear public view then it's OK.
Not if 'you' are in a public place.
