...no one about, apart from the Corsa in front of me who disapeared, faster than me. ? why did they not do that one? Ellie
I expect the other car was not so easily traceable. I have long thought that only the easier catches are caught. Too much effort / paperwork to go for the Corsa.
Have I missed something?
Was it a camera van and she got the summons in the post? If so, how does she know the other vehicle wasn't 'done'?

Ellie only crap insurance companies charge extra for speeding offences. You see there is no statistical evidence that it makes you more likely to crash. Cheer up the revolution will come soon and you can get back to charriot racing.
Direct Line hiked my premium for my first three points on a SP30. When I remonstrated, the call centre operator replied, that I was more of a risk now I had been caught speeding.
Needless to say I purchased my policy elsewhere.

As nonegreen so aptly remarks - cr@p company...
The sort that tries to tell your husband, as you lie unconscious in hospital, that the person who rear ended you was not insured by them as "he died before the impact"
It got sorted - after a long fight!
Shop around - Ellie.... you were unlucky - so was the Corsa as well in all probability.

Well done that man the CEO of DL has dropped a place in the nonegreen public enemy list today as Jenny Agguter climbed a place to number 5. Directline CEO (cant remember his name, a moron anyway) is on record as saying people who speed are likely to be guilty of other crimes

The insurance industry knows very well that it's mainly the least accident-prone who are getting caught by revenue cameras. Raising premiums using the "added risk" reason for such drivers is clearly just an excuse.
