Blackspot and safety camera tie in

Why is it that my road angel indicates blackspots, and there are never any speed or safety cameras there?

Your unit is probably signalling DS2 sites, with 3 strips under the road surface and a plug-in pillar at the side of the road a few yards up, often next to a layby or hardstanding area. These sites aren't permanent hotspots, they go cold for most of the time.

cuneus - think you are right....

RA bleeps at Ings as "blackspot" and the origin spells out scammers there - does not seem to see "blackspot" like the RA, but does warn of overspeeds, schools and kengestions.

Und Strassen Liebchen - if you want to slap your thighs - leather hot pant suit and silly hat might just go with your tan.

But somehow - see your police car as kind of Black Bess und you with natty mask and speed guns....

Don't know why ....just come over me....

You should really drive to the COAST Especially Blackpool without your speedo......

From memory My road angel makes a different beep for blackspots' then camera's so I dont think its beeping at DS2 sites etc. Im sure they make the same beep.


ps there has never been a camera anywhere near where mine has gone off for a blackspot either.
